About

Earlier this year, my friends and I decided to start a Food Prep Club. Finding and preparing recipes for family dinners can be time-consuming and daunting. We decided that if we looked for recipes together and then prepped those recipes once a week, we would have an easier time of creating delicious, family meals.

Each week, each member chooses two “standard” recipes and one slow-cooker recipe. We then vote on three recipes to prep. The experience has been wonderful for multiple reasons: first, each one of us is exposed to new ideas and new food blogs/recipe blogs without having to do all the leg work ourselves. Secondly, prep time is dramatically decreased when your preparing one recipe for three families instead of three recipes for one family. And finally, what’s not to enjoy about a morning spent cooking with friends! Overall, we’ve discovered new foods and been able to share the burden of feeding our families nutritional and delicious foods.

This blog documents the recipes we’ve submitted each week. We wanted an easily accessible “cookbook” of sorts that we could revisit and that could grow as we find and try new recipes. A blog was the perfect solution. So while there isn’t a lot of original content here, this blog has a bunch of fabulous recipes that we compiled from across the internet. Enjoy!
